Normally I am a size 9 (in a cowboy boot a size 8 1/2).

A couple of other things: my ankle craves stability and the super cushioned insoles on these shoes seemed a bit risky so I replaced them with Nike 6mm running insoles.

Post ankle and leg surgery, I felt this shoe was comfortable and the fabric could stretch to accommodate the occasional ankle swelling.
